It was bitter sweet to get this in the mail with my returned layout. While I’m honored to have a page in this final issue, it is so sad to know there will be no more of these, and that I will never again get to be a part of this wonderful project that I totally believe in. (Not to mention there went my main source of scrappy pub income…sniff sniff.)

As sad as we all are about the end of Simple, I love the conviction of some of my fav Simple scrappers in finding ways to help the Simple philosophy live on. As they say, when one door closes another window is opened. There are exciting new things in the works to promote and inspire Simple scrapping and I’m so thrilled I get to be a part of it. I truly believe the Simple philosophy is so important to so many scrappers it will always live on in one way or another. Stay tuned my Simple friends…

I am so sad that there will be no more magazine. I have 4 boys and not tons of time to get my pages done, so I love the simple approach.

I love the simple approach because I have limited time to scrapbook and it makes it possible for me to get pages done. I love that I can quickly turn out pages that not only tell our stories, but are cute and creative.
The simple approach is classic, timeless, photos and story focused, more economical, and a style that more people can identify with, I believe. I can’t wait to see what it is you’re working on to keep the simple stuff alive. Other than blogs I am unaware of anything :(. I would LOVE this mag, as it wasn’t available here, I don’t think!!
I love the “simple” philosophy, and have since the very first issue. I think it’s great that simple didn’t mean “slap-it-together” or “use-a-ready-made-page” but most of all, I loved all of the branches off of the original simple concept. Everything from organizing your supplies by color, scrapping by theme instead of chronologically, and relaxing and having fun.
I’ll definitely miss it!
I absolutely loved this magazine and am so sad to see it go…I’ve subscribed since the beginning. I only hope that the SS philosophy does live on, through CK a bit, through the many blogs you all have, etc…
The thing I love most about the Simple philosophy is the focus on the photos. So sad to see the magazine go, but the philosophy will live on!
I will miss SS, but agree that the simple approach is the best way to get my pages finished.

Someone used the terms classic and timeless. That is so true, but for me it is also about CLUTTER-less. Seems that the ‘show’ pages have so much ‘stuff’–several papers and loads of embell. and you have to work so hard to get to the point of the page. I just plain like a clean look that does not distract from the purpose of the page.
I love that I can focus on the picture and/or the story…with out feeling guilty that I don’t add all the stuff (unless I want it there).
The simple philosophy took the stress out of scrapping & reminded me that it's supposed to be FUN.
