I got to play…

…with some yummy American Crafts products!! (Woo hoo–thanks a ton April!) I just love their clean, graphic, colorful designs. It was fun coming up with creative ways to use their adorable papers (which isn’t too hard to do).

Here is my first layout. I used papers from the Craft Fair line, the Backyard line, and the a la Carte line. I also used some Remarks letter stickers, Fabric Thickers, and miniMarks rub-ons. I cut the wave borders with my Fiskars border punch and made the clouds by cutting various sizes of punched circles in half. (Click on the layout to see a closer view.)

For this layout I cut out the beautiful bold floral pattern from some a la Carte paper and punched out the center of a couple of them. I popped a few out on dimensional foam and added a few tied buttons for embellishments. I also used Remarks letter stickers. The scalloped shaped photo collage template is from the Scrapbooks Etc. website.

This card was fun to put together with some Remarks letter stickers, a miniMarks rub-on, and paper from the Backyard line. (Would you believe I scanned the letter stickers in and arranged them digitally before hand just to be sure they fit right before I stuck them down? How anal is that? LOL!)

I think this was my favorite project–a birdhouse goodie box with matching tag meant to be a house warming gift. I used papers from the Craft Fair line, the Backyard line, and the a la Carte line, and some Remarks letter stickers. I got out my fiskars border punches and a circle punch (for the door and the birdie), and I dusted off my paper crimper. My girls thought it was cute so we made 2 more together–one for each of them. (Template by Nichole Heady.)

I hope these projects inspire you to get out some AC products and play. Over the years some of my favorite layouts and projects have included AC goodies. Just love ’em.
