…got my project done for Black River Designs this month. So much of my time is spent feeding, snuggling, consoling, changing, feeding, and changing my sweet Faith that it took me a while to get this little album done. It was fun to do though, and I kept it simple–that’s the ticket right now, simple. I plan to add more to it as she hits milestones–see faith smile, sit, crawl, etc.
supplies Patterned paper: Black River Designs (BRD 00001 Garden Fence Pink Gate, BRD 00011 Spiro Art, BRD 00013 50 Million , BRD 00014 Jumbo Dots, BRD 00016 Stems & Stripes, BRD 00017 Wild Butterflies, BRD 00018 Wild Vines); Cardstock: Core’dinations; Letter stickers: American Crafts; Ribbons: Offray; Buttons: The Paper Studio; Circle punch: EK Success; Font: Lucida Sans Typewriter; 4×6 photo album: Best Occasion
I bought one of those $1 slip-in 4×6 photo albums at Walmart and trimmed up a bunch of 4×6 blocks of white cardstock. Then I added photos, text, and patterned paper. I slipped those into the album, and then added the ribbon, buttons, punched circles, and letter stickers on top of the page protectors to give the album some dimension (a la Stacy Julian). This would be totally doable in an hour and a half start to finish (sans newborn baby). Easy peasy lemon squeezy, and if feels good to have these details documented now. =)
OMG!! i wil definitely have to do something like that for a blog design! totally nice.
What great inspiration you have in that beauty! She is so beautiful! Great Idea!
{sigh.}
That album
is PERFECTION.
What a darling little album!
Love this idea – TFS!!!:)
