And I’ve got 2 things to share. First, be sure to check out the new gallery at write.click.scrapbook. This month’s theme is documenting December.
My December layout submission is from last year, but I wanted to share it with a little holiday sanity tip: don’t try to photograph the opening of presents Christmas morning. Put down your camera and enjoy the moment. Later on in the day you can photograph your kids with their gifts if you’d like to record that part of the holiday. I decided to go with non-traditional Christmas colors for this spread. Every now and then ya gotta do that just ’cause. Everything on this page is from the lovely Sande Krieger over at 2 peas digital. Also, this month will be a little different. Instead of a member of the inspiration collective hosting the blog, we will be posting fabulous holiday ideas and inspiration. Be sure to check in each day of December for something awesome!
Second, I got the pleasure of reviewing the debut Studio Calico line, Homefront, over at The Scrap Review!
I had a blast working with this line! I made 2 layouts and a card for my review. I even had enough left over for a layout for Mou Saha’s article in CK. So cool that she’s a contributing writer now–love her work.
(For full credits check out my article.) I love those FabRips! So fun! And the colors are just yummy. Good stuff. =)
