It’s October!

That means there’s a new gallery up at Write.Click.Scrapbook. today, and the theme is so fun! We all picked a different project from our Tumblr page to use as inspiration. Here’s the project I picked:

This project was posted for the adorable framed wall art. My inspiration didn’t come from that, though. It actually came from something you can barely see on the edge of the photo. See those lovely stacks of patterned fabric on the shelves? Well, those inspired this:

With the inspiration piece to go from and some scraps that needed to be used this came together so fast–a little October Afternoon, a pinch of Scenic Route, and some American Crafts–easy peasy. Gotta love it when that happens!
