Just wanted to share a couple of layouts that are up on the Jillibean Soup blog today. The first is a look back at some of the things in history that I will remember most about the 2000’s. I found all of these photos by googling the event + “creative commons”. The design is based on a sketch by Donna Januzzi from the Ella Publishing Co. ebook, Double-Page Design: Creating two-page layouts that really shine. I spritzed the white canvas flowers with glimmer mists to match the papers.
The next one is about a 5K run that our family did in support of my husband’s lab where they do atrial fibrillation cardiac research. The run was to raise funding for research and awareness. We had a blast. The design is based on a CK sketch. I stitched one running bib down, punched circles in the other to make embellishments, and stitched on the name codes as well. I cut out a large 5 from white card stock and ran it through my paper crimper so it would match the corrugated alphas.
Terrific pages! Pop culture pages make fabulous fun memories down the road! 🙂
Love the decade defined page, what a good idea!
You are one talented lady! Love these layouts… 🙂
