a card + a cool technique

This card is up on the Jillibean Soup blog today.  I used one of the new Jillibean Soup Unity Stamp sets to create this.  I also used a cool resist technique: I stamped with Versamark water mark ink and then sprinkled some Clearsnap white embossing powder over the stamped images.  I then used my heat gun to emboss them.  After the images cooled and dried, I spritzed the paper with Tattered Angels midnight blue glimmer mist and then wiped over the images with a paper towel.  The embossed images “resisted” the ink–in other words, the ink didn’t take and came right off leaving white images, and a blue background.  Give it a try sometime!
