epiphany crafts, vintage street market, and a project

Last project!  So this Party Games kit totally reminded me of my childhood with it’s vintage game, circus, and zoo images.  So fun!  It totally brought back memories of when I was in 3rd grade and learned how to make napkin carnations for Mother’s Day.  So…I decided to use the yellow crepe paper in the kit to create a fun carnation flower pen.  It was so easy!  I cut six 4×4 inch pieces of crepe, accordion folded the stack, and then secured them with a thin wire embellished with an Epiphany Crafts custom button and felt flower setting.  I twisted the wire and wound it around the barrel of the pen, and then covered the pen with a thin strip of the red foil paper.  Now it sits in my pen jar in my scrap room!
