And that means there’s a new gallery full of inspiration over at Write.Click.Scrapbook. This month’s theme is books. There are some fabulous pages in the gallery, so be sure and check them out! I decided I needed to record some of the recent books I had read. I think my kids will enjoy looking at this when they’re older and seeing what some of the popular books were right now. Here’s my submission:
I used the Autumn Splendor line from We R Memory Keepers. I love how versatile the line is, and the colors and patterns are just so yummy! I used a library card and some measuring tape twill from Jillibean Soup. The alpha stickers are from Bella Blvd.
I also used a fun Photoshop trick on this picture of me. My shirt is actually a much more saturated blue color in real life, but it didn’t quite go with these papers. So I used my polygonal lasso tool to select my shirt, and then used the hue/saturation slider to desaturate the blue a bit so it didn’t overwhelm the rest of the layout.
I love this page! What a cool idea.
