Fall is a time of year that we have created many traditions for over the years. We love to make pumpkin pie, apple pie, apple cake, and apple crisp. We love to visit pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and local Halloween events. We always carve pumpkins and sometimes roast pumpkin seeds. We make handmade decorations and “Halloween” our house. And this last year we added one more to our list of fall things to do: a drive up the canyon to see the incredible changing leaves.
Here are some photos from last fall when we went for a short hike–incredible!

And shame on me! I forgot my camera so these are taken with my cell and they don’t even come close to giving these colors justice.
Anyway, I love our new fall tradition now that we live 10 minutes from these incredible mountains. Do you have any fall traditions? Please share!
Beautiful pictures! We don't get scenery like that in SoCal so I'm living vicariously through your photos.
