Summer’s finally here, and I thought this beach themed wreath would be a great project to share with you. I created it using the We R Memory Keepers Down the Boardwalk collection and some Lucky 8 circular punches.
Step 3: Hot glue the nineteen 2”x7” inch folded paper strips side-by-side around the wreath base. Then hot glue the thirty 2”x5” folded paper strips around the wreath in two layers on top of the bottom layer. Be sure to off-set them so you cover the wreath base completely. Leave an 11 inch diameter space in the center.
Step 4: Cut an 11 ¾” circle from a sheet of the White Textured Cardstock and add it to the center of your wreath. Punch a sheet of Aqua Textured Cardstock with just the inner cut of the Lucky 8 Tatted Doily Punch first, and then just the outer cut of the Lucky 8 Retro Scallop Punch. Layer that over the white cardstock circle. Cut a 9” circle from the yellow floral Down The Boardwalk Designer Paper and layer that over the punched aqua cardstock.
Step 5: Create a beach scene on your wreath by punching one sheet each of Blue and Aqua Textured Cardstock using the Lucky 8 Retro Scallop Punch. Trim off small sections and layer them to create the ocean. Cut a 5” circle from the brown Down The Boardwalk Designer Paper, and cut it in half to create sand dunes. Punch the salmon Down The Boardwalk Designer Paper with the Lucky 8 Tatted Doily Punch, and trim off a small section for the sun.
Step 6: Embellish your beach scene using Down The Boardwalk Cardstock Stickers and Layered Chipboard Tags. The photo corners make great sun rays!
Step 7: Hot glue a 2 foot length of Down The Boardwalk Crocheted Lace Ribbon on the back for hanging.

Thank you for sharing this tutorial, it is easy to do and I would definitely be making one soon.
Namaste.
