anna griffin cards

Anna recently made some appearances on QVC-UK and one of the lovely kits she sold was this gorgeous Cutting Garden Card Kit.  This will be coming to HSN here in the US next month.  Anna’s kits are so versatile because they’re set up so someone with no cardmaking experience can easily create gorgeous cards, but the kits are also perfect for more experienced crafters who want to take their cards to the next level.  That’s what I did with these cards–I took some pre-cut elements from the kit and used them in conjunction with some more advanced techniques.  Take a look:

For this card I used the self-adhesive lattice die cut and backed it with small scraps of different papers from the kit.

Here I punched the corners of one of the pre-cut papers, and punched the edges of the other with an edge punch.  Then I fussy cut the pre-made borders and colored their centers with watercolor markers.

For this card I cut out the diamond pattern of one of the kit papers and backed it with another.  Then I die cut a shape using my Cricut from another pre-cut paper.

And finally, for this card I used an edge punch on one paper, then layered and trimmed the others to create a banner shape.

Honestly, there are no card kits out there on the market that compare with Anna’s in elegance, value, and versatility.  Hands down.  They are tremendous!

  1. What beautiful cards!! I love pretty much everything Anna puts out – but sadly missed out on this particular kit it was on QVC! I'm on their 'waitlist' and have my fingers crossed.
