With Halloween fast approaching, I thought it was past time to make some kind of Halloween decor. Since I got my hands on some of the We R Memory Keepers washi sheets I’ve been thinking of making a votive jar since the washi sheets are somewhat transluscent, flexible, and self-adhesive. So…
…here is what I came up with! I used my Cricut machine to cut some fun Halloween shapes and stuck them to an empty clean pickle jar. I added a strip of black washi tape to the bottom of the jar, and some baker’s twine and a Black Widow metal charm to the top. I love how it turned out. Washi sheets are perfect for this kind of project. I’m planning on making at least two more of these for Halloween, and I’d love to make a set for Christmas too. We’ll see how that goes. =)
Come back on Wednesday and I’ll share a tutorial on how to use washi sheets in a Cricut machine. Plus I may have a couple more votive jars to show you. You never know.
