Every year a wonderful fundraiser is held locally to benefit the children’s hospital called Festival of Trees. Most of the funds raised come from auctioning gorgeously decorated Christmas trees, wreaths, and other holiday decor. There is also a handmade craft store, and last year I had the opportunity to donate a desk calendar through the efforts of the awesome Jennafer Martin. This year I decided to create a couple of card sets using some gorgeous Anna Griffin supplies and I thougth I would share them with you:
Here’s my challenge to you: use your crafty skills (whether its scrapbooking, cardmaking, papercrafts, mixed media, knitting, painting, sewing, etc) to bless someone else’s life this holiday season. Don’t go crazy (unless you have the time, means, and inspiration to do so), you can keep it simple. But use your talents to make someone else’s life a bit better. That, I believe, is why we have talents-to enrich ourselves and others. Pay it forward, and it will always come back to you. =)
