I thought I would post a bit about how my 15 days of gratitude project is going. I’ve been able to keep up each day with recording 5 things I’m grateful for. I’ve noticed my thoughts are usually driven by events during the day, so it’s really become a daily record of events in a way as well.
What I love about focusing on blessings at the end of each day is that even if there are challenges and frustrating moments I end the day reminding myself about the good and positive. It’s helping me to see that there are always good and positive things about life–we just need to open our eyes and see them.
I’ve taken a photos most days, and sometimes I’ve used a photo that I already had. It’s also making me more conscious of taking everyday photos, which I need to do more of.
It’s been almost a week, and I’m really enjoying this project. This is definitely something I want to do more often!
