creative memories baby blog hop!

Welcome to the Creative Memories Baby Blog Hop!!  If you arrived here from Beth Thomander’s blog you’re in the right place.  If you started here and you’d like to participate in the entire blog hop you can start at the Creative Memories Traditional Blog and follow the links from there.

I’m so glad you’re here, and I’m super excited to share this layout that I create using some of the new fabulous baby products that Creative Memories released last month.

These photos are my three daughters on the day they were blessed.  They all wore the same dress, which we still have tucked away in a box.  Looking at their photos I can see similar physical traits,  but they all look so different to me!  Just like they have similar personality traits, but their personalities are so different.  What I love is that now, even though they are ages 12, 10, and 3, they are so close and love each other so much.

The two left photos were taken before we had a digital camera, so I had to scan them in and reprint them.  (Tip: I highly recommend scanning all your pre-digital photos so you have digital copies.)  The far right photo was taken seven years after the middle one with a digital camera and you can tell the image quality is much better.  I thought it would be fun to create a page with these photos all together–what sweet babies!

For this page I used the It’s A Girl Stack Pack, Stickers, and Mat Pack.  I pleated some strips of patterned paper to create the border above the photos.  I trimmed a small strip of scrap paper and applied adhesive to it.  Then I applied adhesive to the back of the patterned paper strips before pleating them and adhered them to the scrap paper.

Well, thanks so much for stopping by today, and I hope you’re enjoying our blog hop.  Before you go, don’t forget your clue…

Now you can continue on your way to Taraneh Heydary’s blog to see the next project and get your next clue.  Here’s a list of all the blogs in case you get lost.  Have fun!
