Yesterday, Anna Griffin appeared on HSN and introduced her new cutting + embossing dies for the Cuttlebug machine created in cooperation with Provo Craft. Here are some card samples:
The embossing details on these images are gorgeous. They look stunning as is…
…or you can play around with them a bit. For the above card I used the negative after I cut the die image and adhered it over some patterned paper with pop dots.
On the card above I combined a die cut image with some punched borders in the same color. They all coordinate and tie together beautifully.
This stunning die doesn’t need much else when creating a card. It covers the whole surface–light against dark really makes it stand out.
Here I cut the image from ivory cardstock and lightly rubbed Anna’s gold ink pad over the embossed design to reveal the beautiful flower images.
For the above card I used Anna’s watercolor markers to add some color and detail to the embossed flowers.
Here I cut apart the die cut image to create a unique design on my card front.
It’s hard to tell in the photo, but for this card I die cut two identical images, inked the bottom one with green Anna Griffin ink, then inked the top one with aqua Anna Griffin ink. I then cut the flowers out of the blue inked image and adhered them on top of the green inked image with pop dots. Looks much cooler in person with all the dimension.
