Yesterday I shared a fun piece of spooky decor using the Bewitched collection and some cool Lifestyle Crafts products on the We R blog.
Here’s my “BOO” banner. I cut three different shape 4×6 banner flags, adding strips of patterned paper to each one. Then I cut a black background for each rosette using the Lattice Doily Shape die. I loved how quick and easy it was to make these rosettes using the Doily Rosette Template Die!
To finish off my banner, I cut some accents using the Bat and Moon Punch Dies. The punch dies allowed me to cut multiples of the same shape at once, saving me some more time on this project. Designer tip: I always add Eyelets to my banners to reinforce the holes for hanging.
These rosettes add wonderful dimension, while the bats and moons bring a festive touch to this piece of Halloween decor. Try using dies on your next project–you’ll love the finished feel and the time you save as well.
