Halloween is one of my favorite events to scrapbook. Not only do I love the photos of my kiddos all dressed up, but I love the darling Halloween products, papers, and embellishments that manufacturers create each year–so fun! Here’s a layout I create using We R Memory Keepers new Bewitched collection.
I love the muted colors, the hexagons, and the text patterned paper in this collection. To create the journaling border I simply cut out words and phrases from the patterned paper and lined them up along the right side of the page. To help line them up evenly, and to bring them added emphasis, I included a strip of black washi tape.
I love using patterned paper as a design element. You can create your own embellishments, journaling, accents, borders–whatever you want, simply from using your patterned paper in a fun and creative way.
