anna griffin stamps + a giveaway!!

It’s Giveaway Time!!

Thanksgiving is tomorrow for us here in the U.S., and I’m so excited to spend time with family, eat some delicious food, and focus on being thankful for all my wonderful blessings.  In the spirit of the holiday, I’d like to express my thanks to you wonderful readers by giving away one free seat in the 12 Days of Christmas: December Duos workshop over at Big Picture Classes.

The “December Duos” concept is easy, stress-free, and inspiring. Every day for the twelve days leading up to Christmas Day, two of our twelve instructors will share a scrapbook layout, video message, and a page prompt in the form of a duo (“warm & cold,” “give & receive,” “near & far”). That’s a total of two-dozen inspiring ideas!

To be considered for this giveaway leave a comment below telling me for favorite holiday photos to take.  I’ll randomly select a winner that will be announced here on Monday morning.  Remember to check back to see if you won.  Good luck!

Stamping Projects

Another new product Anna Griffin debuted on HSN this month is her line of craft room furniture, storage, and organization products.  The Floral Stamp Storage Binders are some of those, and they come with a set of beautiful floral stamps and sentiments.  Take a peek at some projects I created using the stamps:

This stamp set is so versatile.  It’s got borders, flourishes, florals, sentiments, and more.  I used StazOn black ink on watercolor paper and then colored the flowers with Anna Griffin watercolor markers.

For the above card I used clear embossing powder with Anna’s pigment inks.  The embossing powder makes the inks take on an even richer color and a lovely texture.

Again, I used black StazOn ink on watercolor paper, and Anna’s watercolor markers for the flowers.  I also stamped the frame and sentiment–love the extra dimension of the gold on gold.   And I love the beautiful images in this stamp set!

  1. I love taking festive outdoor photos (playing in snow, Christmas lights, special outtings we go on). Thanks for the opportunity to win!

  2. I struggle to find inspiration for festive photos outside the basic – 'this is our tree' shots but my husband and I have a tradition where after the tree has been put up we have a dance to the Dean Martin Christmas album. Last year I figured out how to use the timer on our camera. The photos are so beautiful. We look so genuinely happy with the tree glowing in the background. We are only in our twenties but I will really like to photo this tradition though the years.
