Decorating for the holidays makes me giddy this time of year, and one of my favorite pieces of holiday decor is a good paper craft wreath. This year I used some of my favorite We R and Lifestyle Crafts tools to come up with this little number using the North Pole collection:
I started with a 12 inch foam wreath form I got from a craft store and added some ribbon for hanging first. Then I punched six sheets of 6×6 paper with the Snowflake Mini 8 Punch and added them as my first wreath layer.
Designer tip: if you like to use confetti in your paper craft projects, you can save the leftover snowflakes and circles after you use the Snowflake Mini 8 punch.
Then I used my Evolution machine to cut several doilies out of textured cardstock and added those with foam squares as my next wreath layer. Next I used the Doily Rosette Template Die to make several rosettes for another layer on my wreath.
Finally I added some holly embellishments that I cut with the Holly Punches Die, and a few tags from the North Pole collection to finish off my wreath.
I hope this idea inspires your holiday decorating. Now go on and deck those halls!
Tomorrow I’m sharing some more Anna Griffin projects, so check back then.
