If you’re planning a valentine party for your family, your kids/grandkids, or your significant other, here are some fun ideas for DIY decor. I got out my Head Over Heels collection from Echo Park Paper Co. and went to town with Cupid in mind.
Here are the details:
Cut 4 inch circles and make them into paper fortune cookies by creasing the center of the circle and pinching back the side. You’ll need a good strong adhesive to keep them together.
Print love notes on plain white paper and slip them inside the fortune cookies. Throughout your special valentine meal you can invite your loved ones to read the love notes from the jar.
Here are some fun Cupid’s arrow treat picks that you can add to whatever goodies you’re serving–cupcakes, donuts, moon pies, twinkies, etc. We used them for pink snowballs. The shafts are lollipop sticks. You can use whatever you’d like as long as it’s food grade.
And finally, make your loved ones feel right at home by setting out these valentine placecards. They’re simple, but fun!
