I love using my scrapbooking products for more than just scrapbook pages. Not only do I get to see my favorite patterned papers displayed in my home, but I feel like I’m getting better use out of all the products I hoard in my craft room!
If you’d like to get your scrapbook products out and on display in your home, here are a couple of projects ideas to inspire you:
Winter Garland
Bring the beauty of winter to the warmth of indoors with this delicate snowflake garland. Hang it on your mantle, over a window, or in an empty wooden frame to spruce up the decor in your home.
I created this garland using my Evolution machine and a few of my favorite dies. The Classic Doily Shape Die provides the perfect background for the Doily Rosette Template Die that I cut out of white textured cardstock. I then added some snowflake accents cut with the Snowflake Punches Die with a little bling to finish them off.

Framed Heart Specimen Art
I love all the specimen art I’ve seen floating around the internet. It’s such a cute and classy project, but so easy to make yourself. I made this framed heart specimen art for Valentine’s Day to add a little touch of Cupid to our home.
I die cut 16 hearts, then I arranged them in a grid on an 8×8 piece of white cardstock and placed it inside an 8×8 shadow box I picked up at my local craft store.
I scored and folded some of the hearts to add some dimension and visual interest to the project.

These projects are both simple, but add a fun and festive touch to your seasonal decor. Come back Friday and I’ll share a really fun Valentine rolled paper frame project. See you then!
I lve those happy little hearts – thanks for the inspiration!
