Seeing as it’s almost Valentine’s Day, I thought I would share some of my recent love-themed projects with you to inspire your Valentine crafting over the next few weeks. So, here’s part one which focuses on valentine favor ideas for your kids or grandkids.
Journaling Card Treat Toppers
I used some of my Journaling Cards to make quick and easy Valentine treat toppers. These cards work great because they’re already decorated with such fun designs.
I cut apart bits of some cards to add journaling spots to label the treat toppers. To embellish them I added some Onyx Washi Tape, brads, and paper hearts I die cut from journaling cards with my Evolution and Heart Punches Die.
My daughter can’t wait to share these with her favorite school friends.
Mini Pocket Valentines
With all the candy my kids get for Valentine’s Day each year, sometimes I like to try to come up with a fun class valentine option that doesn’t involve sugar. That can be a challenge though–you want the kids to have fun, right?
Here’s a fun non-candy valentine idea–mini pocket valentines!
The Mini Pocket Template Die is the perfect size to stuff in some small toys or trinkets. I cut pockets out from some Crazy For You patterned paper using my Evolution, and filled them with small sticker sheets I bought at my local dollar store.
