Fortune Teller Party Favor

If you’re looking for a fun favor or centerpiece idea for a child’s party, try reverting back to your own childhood with these fortune teller party favors. I remember making these all the time as a kid, and my kids now love to make them too. What’s so fun about these favors is that once your child’s party guests are finished with their goodies, they can play with the fortune teller.

To create these favors simply trim your paper into a square (mine are 10″) and follow the folding instructions for origami fortune tellers found here.  To avoid tearing, score your paper before folding it.
Once you finish folding the fortune teller, turn it upside down and use a paper piecer to poke a hole in the center for your topper. Hot glue a tag to a lollipop stick and push it into the hole in the center adding a dab of glue to secure it, then tie on a baker’s twine bow. Fill the favor with your favorite candy and pass them out to your party guests. You could also use them for centerpieces at party tables.  Enjoy!
