Letterpress Albums Made Easy Cards

I love the Albums Made Easy system from We R Memory Keepers, and I love the look of letterpress. Well now I can combine the two with the new pre-cut Albums Made Easy Letterpress Cards. The kit comes with 15 4×6 white flat cards and 25 3×4 cards with rounded corners.

Check out this set of Albums Made Easy journaling cards I made using the new letterpress paper and some of the new printing plates. After printing the letterpress images I simply added some coordinating patterned paper, washi tape, and other embellishments.

I added some hand stitched journaling lines to a few of the cards, and left some space for journaling or photos on others. There are so many beautiful ink colors that you’re sure to find one that matches your papers.

AME Layout Using 3×4 Card Punch and Older Paper

One of my all-time favorite We R collections is For The Record. I love the colors, layers, and graph paper base. And, like most We R collections, its classic designs and patterns are still on trend and look great. But, that collection was released before each collection included Albums Made Easy sets so there are no coordinating 3×4 journaling cards for my photo sleeves.

Fortunately, all I have to do is pull out my 3×4 Card Punch and I can make my own! This particular collection lends itself well to punching or cutting out bits for Albums Made Easy layouts and it still looks fresh and new even though it’s an older collection.

Adding some newer embellishments and some freehand pen outlines updates the feel of the papers and stickers perfectly. And the typewriter-style printed journaling font works well with the theme of the papers. I had no trouble finding Washi Tape in colors that match the collection–I love that We R coordinates their embellishments with the paper collection color palettes.

I hope these Albums Made Easy project inspired you!
