giveaway + father’s day gift ideas part 1

Good news blog readers! I’ve got a Big Picture Classes giveaway for you today on my Facebook page. Head on over HERE if you’d like to enter!

Father’s Day Projects

I’m sure most of you have seen the darling folded shirt and tie cards floating around the crafty blog-o-sphere over the last couple of years. They make perfect Father’s Day cards, though folding them can be tricky–they often tear and end up somewhat bulky. Well, thankfully Lifestyle Crafts has a template die that makes these little folded shirts and ties a cinch to make!

Let’s face it–some men are hard to shop for, right? What better way to put your crafty stash to use than making something for the hard-to-shop-for man you love! Check out these coasters I made in minutes using the Antlers Die, some vinyl, and some camo coasters from the dollar store.

If your man isn’t the outdoor type, you could use another shape die and plain coasters or 4 inch tiles as well. Full instructions and supplies are on the We R blog HERE.

I love the make meaningful gifts for friends and family with my crafty stash. Check out this sweet Father’s Day mini book my kids and I made using We R Albums Made Easy products and some of my favorite We R tools.

I made a page for each of my kids. They each chose a quality in my husband that they admire and then wrote down an act of kindness they can do for Dad based on that quality on a hidden journaling tag. Full supplies and instructions on the We R blog HERE.
