father’s day gift ideas part 2

There are plenty of ways to use your crafty supplies and favorite tools to create wonderful gifts for the man in your life. Today I’m sharing an easy but fun sports-themed card for those dads who love catching the latest game on TV.

I created this card by weaving four colors of We R Memory Keepers Washi Tape diagonally across a piece of white cardstock. It’s easy to weave with washi tape since it’s low tack and pulls up easily if you need to reposition it.

Part of our family holiday tradition is banners. Be it birthdays, Mother’s Day, or anniversaries, at our house part of celebrating the people we love is making a sign of some sort. Here is what I came up with for Father’s Day this year.

Remember those Shirt and Tie Cards? Here’s another idea for using the same adorable die–add the die cut shirts and ties to a banner using mini wooden clothespins. Cute, huh?

If you are celebrating a man this weekend who loves to eat out, here’s a fun idea for a gift. You can use the Hamburger Box Template Die to create a gift card holder for Dad to his favorite restaurant.

After creating my box (but before adding the border around it) I added a gift card for my hubby to the Hard Rock Cafe. The sentiment I chose for the outside of my box is a fun little play-on-words related to the gift card. =)

I hope these ideas inspire your Father’s Day crafting. Have a great weekend!
