Welcome back to Card Week! I’m so excited–tomorrow my 28 Cards workshop over at Big Picture Classes begins, and we’re going to have a great time making easy but beautiful cards for all seasons and occasions.
Speaking of occasions, today I’m sharing some fun ways to incorporate cards into holiday parties. The cards I’m sharing today aren’t the kind you place in an envelope and send in the mail. They’re place cards that are displayed on your holiday table to mark your guests seats.
Valentine Place Cards
I created these fun Valentine Place Cards using the latest Echo Park Valentine’s Day collection, Head Over Heals.
To make these I cut a 4″x5″ piece of patterned paper, folded it in half, and then added some die cut hearts, twine, banner flags, and stickers. These little guys are easy to make, but they add such a fun festive feel to your table! For more details and photos visit the Echo Park Paper blog HERE.
Fall Place Cards
Fall is one of my favorite seasons for crafting. I love the beautiful paper collections for fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. Here are some festive fall place cards that you can use for any fall holiday or gathering.
These place cards were a fun stashbusting project–I used up 24 of my 872-eyelet stash. =) The dimensions for these are 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2 ” so they can easily fit 3″x4″ journaling cards. I love to use journaling cards when creating greeting cards or tags. For more details and photos visit the Scrapbook and Cards Today blog article HERE.
Friday I’ll be sharing some more cards to jumpstart your card creativity so be sure to come back and check it out!
