I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again…I love fall crafting! Today I’m sharing a fun layout featuring the I Heart Fall Mini-Theme from Echo Park Paper. While the photo isn’t a fall themed one per se (it was taken this summer at the ice skating rink) I chose to use the fall themed products because I love the cozy snugly feel of it–the way my girls are snuggled together makes me think of fall. Take a peek!
I started by splattering a bit of opaque white ink on my background–it’s pops nicely against the brown. Then I punched several 2″ squares and cut them in half diagonally to make triangles. I’m really liking all the geo shapes I see on layouts right now.
I arranged the triangles in a grid design and then stitched them down with my sewing maching and white thread so the stitching shows up better against the dark wood grain paper.
