accordion fold camera mini album

Mini albums are a great way to document memories from an event or occasion when you have more photos than will fit on a single 12×12 page, and you don’t want to create a full 12×12 album. It’s also a great way to celebrate a special time that you want to keep apart from your everyday scrapbook album.

I love creating unique mini albums that are memorable, and using the Camera Bigz die by Echo Park for Sizzix did just that.

This album includes some of my favorite photos from our family reunion last summer. I really felt like they deserved their own special album.

I kept my embellishments to a minimum to let my photos be the focus of the album. I used one or two Element or Alpha Stickers from the We Are Family paper collection by Echo Park on each photo.

I backed each photo with a piece of patterned paper and sandwiched a strip of washi tape in between the photo and paper to bind the album together.

While I love the look of the camera shape for this album, you could use a different shape die depending on your theme or occasion. The possibilities are endless!

  1. Am knee deep in making photo decorations for my granddaughter's high school graduation. I think this would look great on the mantle! Thanks for the idea!
