embossed birthday card

Did you know that Echo Park Paper Co. has recently started releasing embossing folders to match their paper collections? For example, take a look at this embossed birthday card I made with the darling new Birthday Wishes collection. I can’t tell you how awesome it is that they keep adding new scrapbook embellishments and products to match their collections–they’re constantly making it easier to create amazing paper craft projects!

This handmade birthday card took about 15 minutes using some plain cardstock, the viewfinder embossing folder, the 6×6 paper pad, and the element stickers.

I made this fun pinwheel accent by cutting a 3×3″ paper, trimming from each corner to about 1/2 inch from the center, and then folding over the corner onto a foam square I placed in the center of the square. I finished it off with an enamel dot in the center.
