decorate your craft space with journaling cards

I’ve recently been cleaning out sections of my craft room and reorganizing things a bit. As part of that process I moved my 5 year old daughter’s craft supplies downstairs into my older daughters’ craft room since they don’t use it as often, and I reassigned her work space to…well…me! So I redecorated the wall just above that workspace and included these easy framed journaling cards. Love it!

The frame is an old Creative Memories magnetic whiteboard designed to display 12×12 scrapbook pages, cards, notes, etc. Instead of using the magnets that came with it, I decided to use some pretty watercolor washi tape from We R Memory Keepers to hold my journaling cards in the frame.

It was super easy to make this–I just chose a color scheme to match the colors in my space, and then selected some 4×6 and 3×4 journaling cards (and a cool Heidi Swapp decorative tag) within that color scheme to create a collage with. I love that I can easily swap out these journaling cards to fit the current season or holiday. Or I can just swap them to fit my mood. Too fun!
These framed journaling cards are part of a larger grouping that includes some new craft storage products from We R Memory Keepers. There will be a future blog post with more details about those coming soon!
Don’t you love that cute personalized gold foil print that Heidi Swapp’s team made for me? They’re the sweetest!
