add sentiments with embossing strips

This month on the We R Memory Keepers blog we’re hosting 30 Days Of Evolution. This week the focus is dry embossing, and today I’m sharing some tips and tricks for using the Embossing Strips to create sentiments. Here’s a sneak of one of my three projects, and the tip is to use white core cardstock and a fine grain sanding block to create a distressed look on your embossing project.

Be sure to visit the original post on the We R blog HERE to see the other tips and projects I’m sharing today.

I didn’t have room to share all of the cards on the We R blog that I’ve created with the awesome Embossing Strips, so I thought it would be fun today to share the other three cards with you here. Check them out!

(Note: there’s a strange evening color cast on these photos. I was pressed for time to meet the deadline to turn these in for CHA last winter and had to photograph them in very low light, so I apologize these photos aren’t the best.)

There are so many fun ways you can use these Embossing Strips. My favorite way is to include some ink. I love adding color to dry embossing! How do you like to use your embossing folders?
