teacher appreciation card | free printable project sheet

My kids have been in school for four weeks now–yikes! How did we get to mid-term already? They’ve got some awesome teachers, and I believe it’s important to let their teachers know how awesome they are. So today I’m sharing a fun teacher appreciation card made with the adorable new Teacher’s Pet collection by Jen Gallacher for Echo Park, along with a link to a free printable project sheet with full instructions and supplies.

I love the cork board paper in this collection, so I chose that as my card base. Then I simply cut out one of the 3×4 journaling cards and used that as a mat for my sentiment and embellishments. Journaling cards make easy and effective layers for handmade cards.

Next I used the coordinating globe Designer Die as the focal point of my card, and die cut a label to help emphasize part of my sentiment. The mini alpha stickers made for the perfect custom sentiment.

I finished off my card with a few scattered wood veneer shapes and enamels dots. To download the free printable project sheet for this card, with full instructions and supplies, visit the Echo Park Paper website HERE. Enjoy!
