5 halloween projects

The weather has finally turned cooler here, we’ve had some rain, and I’m ready to start more Halloween crafting! To get some crafty mojo going I’m sharing 5 Halloween Projects from past blog posts that I love. These projects will take you all the way through your Halloween celebrations, from food, to decor, to favors, to games, to documenting your party memories. Check out my five favorite Halloween Projects!

1. Halloween Cupcake Wrappers
These cuties were easy to make with my Evolution Advanced and the Lifestyle Crafts Ring Cupcake Liner die. I also used another Lifestyle Crafts die from the Banner It set to make the cupcake toppers. You’ll find more photos and details on the original post HERE.

2. Halloween Candy Boxes
I think this is one of my all time favorite Halloween projects. I love the colors, the patterns, the die cut windows, the gold sequins, all of it. =) These were easy to make with the Candy Box Punch Board and some Halloween Dies. Grab the full tutorial on the We R Memory Keepers blog HERE.

3. DIY Halloween Memory Game

This one was a lot of fun to put together, and my youngest daughter still likes to play with these cards. Using my 3×4 Card Punch and some of my favorite Halloween dies made this project come together in no time. I laminated them for stability. Check out the original post HERE with more details and photos.

4. Halloween Brag Book
What do you do with all the photos you took of your Halloween celebration? Make a simple envelope brag book! I used the Envelope Punch Board to make a 4×6 envelope, make a flip book, attached it to the inside, and added my photos. Easy peasy! Full tutorial HERE.

5. Halloween Costumes Mini Album
I love scrapbook pages and mini albums that compare changes over time. Why not gather all the photos of your child in his/her Halloween costumes over the years and place them all in a cute mini album? It’s so fun to see what they’ve dressed up as over the years, and how they’ve changed. Full post HERE.

  1. Love these ideas! When I looked at the match game, I first thought it had to do with Pocket Letters. I am creating Pocket Letters right now. They are so much fun and I have met so many people, both in the States and international. The theory is that you include a letter with each pocket letter and it can be a one time swap or an ongoing friendship with your new pen pal. If you are not familiar with this (it's relatively new and has only been around since March of this year), check out Pocket Letter Pals or Pocket Letters, Themes, Challenges, & Swaps on Facebook, or check out some of the videos on Youtube. Would love to see a manufacturer come up with some cards to fit the pockets. The Project Life cards are too big and sometimes can't be cut down without ruining the design or phrase. The pocket size is 2.5 wide by 3.5 high. The plastic that is used to house the cards and embellishments is a 9 pocket, 8.5 x 11 plastic sheet that is used to hold baseball cards. Again, I love your work, Aly!
