15 days of gratitude | week 1

So, I’ve completed the first half of my 15 Days of Gratitude project, and I’ve got some finished pages to show you. I’ve really enjoyed working with Heidi Swapp’s Wanderlust Memory Binder, papers, and embellishments. I love how this gratitude journal is coming along. Take a peek!

Originally I was going to handwrite my journaling, but I’m not a big fan of my writing and I love the look of paper strips, so I went with the printed journaling strips.

I used Heidi’s date stamp on my journaling pages, along with some die cuts and ephemera bits.

Each of the page protectors is embellished with some stickers, die cuts, paper clips, etc.

I used some of the coordinating Wanderlust envelopes to add hidden journaling on plain kraft tags.

I made shaker pockets in some of the 3×3 photo sleeves using the We R Memory Keepers Confetti Punch and Photo Sleeve Fuse.
I added an ephemera piece from the FUSEables collection to the outside of my shaker pocket. It was easy to fuse it to my photo sleeve when I sealed it shut.

I also included some of the pre-made shaker pockets from the Wanderlust collection. Love those!

Thanks for letting me share the first week of my gratitude journal for my 15 Days of Gratitude project. I hope this gives you some ideas and inspiration for your own journal. Be sure to pop by next week on Thanksgiving Day when I share the rest of my pages, and some of my thoughts about this project.

  1. I luv how clean and bright your pages areand hat aren't heavily embellished; it's intimidating sometimes. I'm not a huge fan of my writing either. I need lots of practice.
