Looking for some ideas for Valentine’s Day treat boxes, or party favors? You’re in luck! Today I’m sharing some easy and festive Valentine’s Day treat boxes using the pretty new Blowing Kisses paper collection from Echo Park.
I seriously love Valentine’s Day projects! It’s so fun creating things that help express your love for those closest to you. There’s really nothing more important than sharing your love with your family and friends, so I’m really excited to share this idea with you!
I started by cutting out the boxes with my Silhouette. I used THIS scalloped top favor box by Lori Whitlock. I cut my boxes slightly smaller than the cut file comes to better fit the sizes of the stickers and tags I used to embellish them. I also erased the holes for tying a ribbon before cutting.
Once I had cut and assembled my boxes, I added borders around the centers. Since the boxes are wider at the top than they are at the bottom, I had to trim the borders into separate sections for each side of the boxes to keep them level.
To finish off my boxes, I added various stickers and tags from the ephemera pack. I used foam squares for extra dimension, and included some red and white striped baker’s twine as well.
I filled my boxes with some large red gumballs (I love gumballs). You can fill yours with your favorite Valentine’s Day treats, or with some small toys or prizes for party guests, neighbors, or school classmates. These cute and easy treat boxes are perfect for any love-themed occasion!
