top 3 posts from february 2015

Recently I was browsing through some of my blog posts from this month last year and a few caught my eye that had been pretty popular. It seems you wonderful blog readers really enjoyed some projects I created with the We R Memory Keepers Photo Sleeve Fuse, a Baker’s Twine Tassel Garland, and a simple but clever idea–use your extra Project Life Journaling Cards to made DIY Mini Notebooks! It was so fun to revisit those old projects that I thought I would share with you the top three projects (based on views) from February 2015!

1. Photo Sleeve Fuse Projects

The Photo Sleeve Fuse heat sealing tool from We R Memory Keepers debuted last year at the Craft and Hobby Trade show. I created some projects samples for the show and shared them on my blog a month later.

I used the Fuse tool to customize my pocket page with a shaker pocket and diagonally divided pocket. CLICK HERE for more photos and details about these Photo Sleeve Fuse projects.

2. Baker’s Twine Tassel Garland

I love the tassel trend! They’re so fun and festive, and they’re easy to make from a variety of materials. I have several spools of baker’s twine, so last year I decided to use them to make an easy garland perfect for parties, home decor, or any occasion.

You can use yarn, twine, tissue paper, or cording to make these. CLICK HERE for more photos and details on my blog. You’ll want to make these out of everything all the time. I promise. =)

3. DIY Mini Notebooks

I made these cuties out of some extra Project Life Journaling Cards and trimmed-down lined loose leaf paper. I have a TON of these 3×4 cards in my stash, and this is a great way to put them to use. CLICK HERE for instructions and more photos. Super easy project, and they make great gifts!
