online scrapbook and craft classes

Hello crafty friends! Hope your week is going well, and that you have some crafty time to look forward to this weekend. Today I wanted to remind you about some of the online classes that I teach on various platforms to help you get creative, get some projects done, and get some memories recorded. First off is my very latest class that launched this week!

Adding new supplies to your stash is exciting! But using everything you have can be tough. In Smash Your Stash | Paper, I’ll show you how to put your stash to good use! Each class in this yearlong series provides three separate challenges that focus on using a specific supply. In this first class, you’ll learn some creative ways to use your patterned papers to jazz up your scrapbook layouts. If you’re not a member of the Big Picture Classes education community, learn more about a free trial membership HERE.

Throughout my Playful Scrapbook Layouts class, you’ll learn a variety of fun techniques as you make seven playful scrapbook layouts. Create ombré backgrounds and effective color schemes; bring depth to your page and alter your photos so that they complement your color scheme; discover easy washi tape techniques and essential design principles; make a fun chevron design and play around with sprayed ink; use a masking technique, pleat and sew paper, create colorful starbursts; finally, create DIY memorabilia on your page.

Customize your projects even more! In my 3 Ways to Fuse class I’ll show you how versatile the We R Memory Keepers Fuse tool can be as I walk you through creating three different projects. Although the Fuse is primarily for customizing page protectors, I’ll prove how easy it is to use this tool to make free-standing shaker pocket tags, gift card holders, and more. If you’re a fan of the Photo Sleeve Fuse tool, you need to check out this class!

While this series was originally run in 2015, you can still document each month of the current year with a little help from my Document 2015 monthly class. Every month you’ll get a new month-in-review layout, some sketches, videos and plenty of tips to help you record the year in an authentic, creative, and fun way. As we all know, life is busy, so finding time to scrapbook can be tough, but this monthly series is a great way to set aside some time to get those stories told! At the end of the class series, students will come away with an entire album documenting their story this year. CLICK HERE for more details.
