Please tell me I’m not the only one who remembers little gifts and treats for holidays at the last minute! If you need an idea for a quick neighbor, teacher or friend gift for St. Patrick’s Day this week here’s an easy mini treat box I created combining two We R Memory Keepers punch boards and some double sided scrapbook paper. Fill these with some yummy goodies, and you’re all set for Thursday!
These Lucky Candy Boxes I created were featured on the We R Memory Keepers blog last year. You can catch the original post with full instructions HERE.
Punch boards are some of my very favorite tools, so I was super excited to figure out how to use these two boards to create a unique mini gift box.
The basic idea is that you use the Candy Box Punch Board to create the cute top of the box, and the Gift Bag Punch Board to create the bottom flaps of the box. CLICK HERE for the full tutorial on the We R blog. And, conveniently, this little treat box fits three Hershey’s Nuggetsperfectly! Love the gold candy wrappers for St. Patty’s Day.
While I decorated these treat boxes with shamrocks, you could use any color paper and any type of embellishments you’d like. These would be great wedding favor boxes, holiday teacher gifts, or baby shower favors.
