15 days of gratitude 2016: part 1

Each year, starting two weeks before Thanksgiving, I start keeping a gratitude journal. I record at least one thing that I’m grateful for in my journal everyday leading up to Thanksgiving. Then on Thanksgiving Day, I read through all of my journal pages and write down my thoughts about the last two weeks. Here’s the cover page for my 15 Days of Gratitude journal for 2017.

For more details and information about this project, visit the original post on the We R Memory Keepers blog HERE.

This year I’m using one of the notebooks from the Typecast Mint paper collection. I love that it has lined paper, and pockets with tags that I can use for memorabilia, photos, and other loose items. I plan to keep it in my purse, and I don’t want any goodies to get knocked off the front cover, so I created my cover page inside the notebook instead of on the outside.

I’ll be reporting on the We R blog each Thursday for the next two weeks, including Thanksgiving Day to share the pages I’ve completed so far. Be sure to come by and see!

Since this is a project I do each year, I thought you might enjoy seeing some inspiration from years past. You can check out my gratitude journal from last year on my blog HERE.

HERE‘s my journal from 2014…

…and HERE‘s my 2013 journal.

The year 2012 was the very first time I did this project, and you can find that journal right HERE.

I hope you’ll play along with me! Your journal doesn’t have to be complicated, or take a lot of time to create. You can keep it simple and just write about your blessings. You can add a few photos, or get really creative. It’s totally up to you. But, I can tell you that doing this project each year has helped me to recognize the positive, good things in my life and that’s alway worth doing. See you next Thursday!
