craft room storage and organization: part 2 + winner!

Last week I had the chance to visit Utah’s premiere lifestyle TV show, Studio 5, to share some craft room organization tips and storage ideas. I also hosted a giveaway on my blog to celebrate. Today I’m sharing some more craft supply storage tips with you, some beautiful storage options, and I’m announcing the giveaway winner!

Craft Room Storage Tips and Ideas

One tips I love to share with crafters who are trying to get their stash organized is to place the items they use most often within arm’s reach on their work surface. Of course, that means you want your most used supplies in cute storage containers! These stylish craft room and office storage options from Crate Paper are perfect for your work surface, desktop, or another surface in your home office.

Remember, if you have to expend a lot of effort to get to your supplies, you’re less likely to use them. In this desktop storage bin there’s plenty of space for all your supplies, plus the large pocket is 12×12 inches so you can store your 12×12 layouts and papers inside. Perfect for scrapbookers!

Consider keeping all the supplies for a current album, or layout your working on in this piece. There’s room for stickers, markers, small tools, and the two small drawers at the bottom are perfect for mini size embellishments, or for small office supplies like paper clips, or push pins. Plus, who doesn’t want to have a rose gold metallic lined container on their desktop?

Magazine holders have been around for decades, but they’ve never looked like this before! I love the gold accents and gold book plate–so stylish!

Again, this one holds 12×12 sheets and layouts, so you can use it for scrapbook paper, cardstock, and paper craft project storage. And everything you need can be out on your work surface where you can see it and remember to use it.

How pretty is this small magnetic storage box? It’s perfect for keeping some of your go-to embellishments that you want to use on most often on your projects. If you don’t like clutter, just close the magnetic lid and the box looks tidy and beautiful! I love the gorgeous floral print on the inside–such a nice surprise when you open the box.

I hope these craft room storage tips and ideas have been helpful. What’s your favorite storage or organization tip?
