easy thank you tags with the typecast typewriter

Hello friends! It’s summer vacation at our house, and we are so excited! I’m sure some of you have started your summer vacation, or will be in the next few weeks. Today I thought I’d share an idea for easy thank you tags that you can attach to a teacher gift, or a thank you gift for a neighbor, friend, or coworker.

This is a personal blog, but I am an employee and do receive financial compensation and material product from American Crafts/We R Memory Keepers. This post contains affiliate links to help support my blog. You are not charged any extra cost for purchasing supplies using those affiliate links. All ideas and opinions are my own.

I made these gift tags in no time with a package of ephemera from the Pink Paislee Moonstruck collection, my We R Memory Keepers Typecast typewriter, some Typecast mini tags, and some jute twine.

I started by selecting one tag and one coordinating die cut from the Moonstruck ephemera pack. I had five thank you gifts to give out, so I put together five sets.

Then I typed “thank you” onto some mini kraft tags with my Typecast typewriter.

Then I punched holes in the tags and die cuts, and tied them together with twine in sets of three.

I used some washi tape stickers to attach these to some pretty boxes of chocolate, and then hand delivered them to some friends.

You could make these for any event or occasion. Just switch up the colors and theme of the ephemera pack and tags.

Thanks for stopping by today, and happy crafting friends!
