november gratitude journal spread

For years I’ve kept a personal gratitude journal of one kind or another. It happens often during the month of November when my mind is focused on being thankful. I’ve also done it during really hard times that our family has gone through, and whenever I do it, it completely changes my perspective and my focus in a wonderful way.

Recently I put together a gratitude journal spread for the month of November where I’m recording some things I’m grateful for. Life’s been pretty good, but pretty busy lately so it’s helping me slow down and live more intentionally while recognizing the good in my life. Click below to see how I made this sweet gratitude journal page.

This is a personal blog, but I am an employee and do receive financial compensation and material product from American Crafts/We R Memory Keepers. This post contains affiliate links. I created this gratitude journal using an Amy Tangerine Journal Studio Journal from American Crafts. When I’m working in my journal or planner, I love to use the We R Memory Keepers Felt Travel Workspace. It has plenty of pockets and straps for storing pens, supplies, and accessories. I love working on the center workspace because it has straps that hold your journal or planner open while you’re working on it. I also love the clipboard on the right flap. If you’re journaling on a small tag or photo, it’s the perfect place for that. I’ve brought this workspace with me on more than one business trips and it’s super handy!

My favorite part of the page is the title! I’m not very practiced or skilled at drawing, hand lettering and sketching, so I love that We R has provided helpful tools for people like me who still want to add handrawn touches to their projects. Check out how I used the Reflection Tracer together with an image on my cell phone to trace this darling design. The @werjournalreflector Instagram account has dozens of free templates in reverse that work perfect with this amazing tool.

The fox design was also from the same IG account–I just left out the fox’s body. Then I hand wrote November in the little banner and my title was complete. Love it!

Next, I used the We R Memory Keepers All In One Journal Guide to make the gratitude list numbered lines. I fill in one thing I’m grateful for each day leading up to Thanksgiving.

The Journal Guide is so versatile! I also used it to make the calendar and banner on the right side of the spread. It’s definitely a go-to tool of mine for planning and journaling!
The final touches were some fussy cut fall leaves and border strips I cut out from the DCWV Inc Fall Forest 12×12 paper stack. The We R Detail Scissors made quick work of my fussy cutting. They’re sharp and small enough to get those tiny details just right.
Keeping a gratitude journal is a great practice that has enriched my life and I totally recommend it to anyone. Plus, the chance to make your journal a little creative and decorative is always a plus in my book!
