Let’s face it. As crafters we love to accumulate craft supplies, but storing and organizing them can sometimes feel overwhelming! Keeping my craft room well organized, neat, and tidy is a constant process that I need to carve out time for regularly or my creativity suffers. When I find helpful craft room storage and organization ideas I love to share them in hopes that other crafters might benefit from what I’ve learned. So, here is a cool craft storage tip that I recently discovered…
I recently got my hands on the new 3 Drawer Storage by We R Memory Keepers. Around the same time, I got my new Quill Kits from We R as well, and guess what? All five new Quill Kits fit perfectly into the 3 Drawer Storage! I love it when things work out perfectly like this.
The Bevel Quill and the Etch Quill contain quill pens similar to the Foil Quill, but they don’t need power. The adapters are the same as the Foil Quill adapters, and both kits contain all four adapters (A for Silhouette, B for Brother, C for Cricut, and D for Sizzix). These two kits also come with a pack of ephemera to get your projects going. The Bevel Quill includes Bevel Board, and the Etch Quill includes plastic pieces.
The Glue Quill, Fabric Quill and Singe Quill are actually pen attachments that need different adapters since they are thinner than the other quills. Each kit comes with the four adapters needed for these pens. The Glue Quill includes glitter and embossing powder, the Fabric Quill includes a washable pen, a bleach pen, and permanent fabric makers in various colors. The Singe Quill includes two pens (standard and bold) and a pack of wood ephemera for singeing.
All of the quills, pens, glitter, embossing powder and adapters fit into the top divided tray of the 3 Drawer Storage.
The drawers below hold the ephemera packs for the Bevel Quill, the Etch Quill and the Singe Quill. Perfect match!
This unit sits on top of my work surface over by my Silhouette Cameo 3, so I can reach the Quill Kits whenever I need them. I’m so glad I was able to get these supplies organized and stored well so I can create with them easily. Now, on to another corner of my craft room!
