Hello friends! Can you believe that Valentine’s Day is next week?! This year it kind of snuck up on me, but no worries! I’ve got plans. Oh yes, I’m here to share a fun and interactive Valentine’s Day party decor idea. Why not take your February 14th celebration up a notch and make Love Note Cupcake Toppers!
Include tiny love notes inside a tiny envelope on each cupcake to the friends and family you’re celebrating with on Valentine’s Day. How fun are these?!?
They’ll add a fun interactive element to your party, and make each of your guests feel extra special. And the bitty envelopes are easy to make with one of my fave tools–the We R Memory Keepers Mini Envelope Punch Board!
To make these Valentine’s Day cupcakes, I started by making some simple cupcake wraps with the We R Memory Keepers DIY Party Board using the Forever My Always collection from our sister brand, Pebbles Inc. You can also use the Loves Me collection from Pebbles available HERE.
Next, I trimmed apart the Love Notes paper so I could use some of the 2×2 inch blocks as love notes for my cupcakes. Then I made some 2×2 inch envelopes for the love notes with my Mini Envelope Punch Board. I also slipped in some of the smaller die cut ephemera pieces as well.
I sealed up each envelope with a puffy sticker from the collection, and then added a red cocktail pick to the back of each one with a small glue dot.
Then I wrapped each cupcake, and stuck the mini love note toppers into each one. The Magic Sweet Stand by Sweet Tooth Fairy is the perfect way to display them!
