father’s day gift ideas | free SVG files!

Let’s talk Father’s Day! My mantra is “handmade is always better”, and handmade with FREE SVG FILES is even better! I used some free cutting and drawing files I found on the We R Memory Keepers blog to make handmade foiled cards with my Foil Quill and Silhouette Cameo 3, and some Father’s Day t-shirts as gifts for the hubby, my dad and my father-in-law. Check it out!

I picked three of my favorite FREE SVG FILES that you can download from We R Memory Keepers on their blog…

 HERE.

Each design comes in SVG and PNG format, and in draw and cut versions as well, so you can use them with your electronic cutting machine and the Foil Quill, Glue Quill, Singe Quill, Etch Quill or Bevel Quill. My machine of choice these days is my Silhouette Cameo 4.

You can also use them with your electronic cutting machine to cut different materials like vinyl, paper, fabric, etc. I used my machine to cut some Siser heat transfer vinyl that I ironed onto some t-shirt blanks from Gilden and Bella+Canvas.

You can find a Foil Quill card tutorial below. It’s a different project, but it will help with applying foil using your electronic cutting machine.

Here’s an online Michael’s class that shows how to use the Siser heat transfer vinyl. It’s my favorite kind by far!
Here’s the third t-shirt and matching card that I made. So fun, right?
I think the dads/grandads are going to love them! I’m excited to share these handmade gifts this Father’s Day. Love is in the details.
