Christmas is coming up pretty quickly, but there’s still time to make some cool handmade gifts for your loved ones. If you need a gift idea for a teacher, coworker, neighbor or friend, a custom tumbler is definitely the way to go! One of my favorite ways to make a glitter tumbler is using the mica swirl method, which makes for a perfect winter themed tumbler. I’ve got a tumbler video tutorial for you below, so check it out!
What I love about this mica swirl tumbler is that it looks like a blizzard with the white and aqua swirled mica, the silver holographic glitter, and the snowflake confetti. So pretty and magical!
To make this Winter Wonderland Tumbler, you’ll need some supplies. You can find all of these supplies at Michaels Stores, and here’s what you’ll need:
You’ll also need something to protect your work surface and Spin It machine. That could be a sheet of plastic, newspaper, butcher paper, wax paper, etc. I made this tumbler with the new We R Memory Keepers Spin It Pro, which is a new upgrade from the original Spin It Tumbler Turner.

First, the spring loaded arm holds cups on very securely. They allow for making tons of different sizes of tumblers, and are strong and reliable. No tumblers falling off!
Next, I love the ridged base! It’s easy to remove while the cup is on so you can let your cup finish curing while starting another one. Or you can use it for spray painting and hydro-dipping without having to remove your cup. So cool!
And lastly, I love the new support for the arm. You can create custom tumblers up to 32 oz on this machine, no problem! Yay!
