Lately I’ve been working though some pain points in my craft room organization and storage. Some of my current systems aren’t working for me anymore, so I’ve been making some changes so my supplies are easier to find and stored in a way that works best for me. One of those pain points is my washi tape, and I’m excited to share how I relieved that pain point.
I used to store my washi rolls in four separate places in my room. They were organized by brand and collection. It was difficult to find what I needed and confusing to have it stored in different places, so I decided to move them all to one storage bin.
The bin I chose is the new We R Memory Keepers Washi Tape Storage Bin. It has four divided removable trays that fit washi tape perfectly. I love that I can remove each tray separately so I don’t have to bring the whole bin with me when I’m crafting if I don’t need to.
It’s clear so you can see exactly what’s inside which means no racking my brain trying to remember what’s stored inside. I also love that it has a handle with closures so I can easily transport the bin wherever I need to.
I’ve organized my washi tape according to brand and collection so it’s easy for me to find the washi that coordinates with specific brands I’m working with. That’s generally how I create–with specific brands. It’s important to consider how you create when organizing your supplies. Do you create by color, theme, brand, or style? Then it might work best for you to organize your supplies that way.
Do you have any tips or favorite ways to store you washi tape? How do you organize your supplies? I’d love to hear your thoughts about craft room storage and organization. Comment below, and thanks for stopping by!
